New Technical Director
Mikael Ericsson

Naviair has appointed Mikael Ericsson new Technical Director and Head of ATM Projects & Engineering.

Mikael Ericsson has been acting Technical Director since 1st May 2008, when Naviair’s former Technical Director Brian S. Dahl chose to take on new challenges after the launch of Naviair’s new ATC system.

Mikael Ericsson has been with Naviair since 1997, as head of Projects and later as Program Manager, heading the building project concerning the new ATC centre as well as Naviair’s new ATC Tower at Copenhagen Airport.

Previously Mikael Ericsson has had a significant roll in the program management for launching of the ATC system in December 2007.

Prior to Naviair, he held various Project Management positions within Alfa Laval Automation among others.

Mikael Ericsson is Swedish, 45 years old and lives in Malmö with wife and 4 daughters.

Director General Morten Dambæk says:
“I am genuinely happy to welcome Mikael onboard the Management as Technical Director. Through many years he has proven to be not only a skilled Head of Projects but also a skilled leader. With his huge knowledge of our technical  systems, we are well prepared for the future development of ATM-systems, partly through co-operation with Naviair’s alliance partners, partly related to the Single European Sky harmonization strategy.”
