During summer 2005 members of the Danish press as well as members of the Parliament focussed on certain civil servants’ inappropriate acceptance of presents and gifts from private companies and other parties.
Accordingly, and in response to recommendations by the Ministry for Transport and Energy, Naviair has decided to inform our suppliers and other partners about Naviair’s Policy on Presents which prevents Naviair employees from accepting presents e.g. at Christmas or other seasonal festivals. As an exception, acceptance of presents of minor value on special occasions such as personal jubilees may be accepted.
I hope everyone will understand this and kindly ask you to respect our policy.
