There has been an 80 per cent increase in reports since the new legal framework was introduced. ICAO supports penalty-free incident reporting, and the European Commission strengthened this policy when it mandated incident reporting mandatory in June 2003. Incident data is key to improving the safety environment.
The other nominated:
2) CANSO’s Co-operation in ANS Work Group. The group aims for better co-operation between air navigation service providers, airline customers, and technology providers, in order to unlock significant value from the industry.
