During the Civil Air Navigation Service Provider Organisation (CANSO) Annual General Meeting in Prague Naviair’s Director General Morten Dambæk was elected as vice-chairman of the European CANSO CEO Committee (EC3).
Following the Terms of Reference for EC3, this also means that after a one year period as vice-chairman Morten Dambæk will automatically continue as chairman for EC3 for another one year period.
The Committee represents almost all the Air Navigation Service Providers in Europe and works towards added value in Air Traffic Management in Europe in cooperation with other European bodies like the European Commission, Eurocontrol and IATA et al concerning implementation and coordination of the Single European Sky, the SESAR programme and many other high level subjects.
Director for the Air Navigation Service Provision in the Nether-lands (LVNL), Mr. Eric Kroese was elected chairman for EC3.
