New Air Traffic Control Tower in Copenhagen Airport went operational 29 December 2007 including completely new technology.

The air traffic controllers in the control Tower are using completely new information processing system which has been developed in cooperation with the Canadian Air Navigation Services provider NAV Canada.

President & CEO Mr. John Chrichton, NAV CANADA  visited Navair and the new control tower in Copenhagen Airport

 

NAV CANADA is the worlds second largest Air Navigation Service Provider based on flights controlled and has app. 5.300 employees. The company markets its own developed technology which it sells in-house or to other contries. The Canadian service provider enjoys the respect i the business and is quite succesful in continuing investements in technology along with reduction in the rates.

 

Mr. John Chrichton, President & CEO NAV CANADA said;
- I think Naviair is very progressive in terms of the arrangements with the Scandinavian countries and Ireland, along with the effort in standardize technology and focusing on delivering value. All together it is very forward thinking and I am convinced, that Naviair will be very successful.
