Updated 10:49: Current status in the Danish Airspace...

Current status:

SLV/DCAA has approved the new procedures for flying in low contrations of volcanic ash.

The new procedures are in effect from Thursday 22 April at 08:00 >>> www.slv.dk

All previous restrictions for flying in Danish Airspace are no longer in effect - and ALL FLIGHTS ARE PERMITTED.

Flying in areas with low concenttrations of volcanic ash, presuppose that the airliners has approval from SLV/DCAA and follows the new procedures.

If the concentration of volcanic ash in the airspace rises to a higher concentration, parts - or all of the Danish airspace, will be closed.

Naviair will monitor the situation and coordinate with the Danish Civil Aviation Authorities.
