NORACON, the NORth European and Austrian CONsortium, consists of eight European ANS pro-viders: Austro Control (Austria) and the North Eu-ropean ANS Providers (NEAP) including AVINOR (Norway), EANS (Estonia), Finavia (Finland), IAA (Ireland), ISAVIA (Iceland), LFV (Sweden) and Naviair (Denmark). The purpose of NORACONs membership in the SESAR Joint Undertaking is to ensure impact from the partners in the development of the future Eu-ropean ATM business. NORACON together handle approximately 13% of the European IFR traffic and covers an even larger geographical area.
