Air traffic is an international business and Naviair therefore takes an active part in the extensive transnational co-operation in this field.

This work is done through participation in a number of international organisations of which the most important ones are the ones in the menu to the left.

As an integrated part of the European air traffic control service, Naviair aims to provide air traffic management satisfying the demands of passengers travelling by air and airlines in terms of safety, efficiency and regularity, including as much as possible consideration for the external environment.

Participation in the international work is either directly attended to through Naviair’s handling of tasks or through assistance thereof, including the handling of ATM tasks assigned by the Ministry of Transport.

This web contains a further description of ICAO, EUROCONTROL, CANSO and EU, and explaining Naviair’s participation in the transnational co-operation.
