The Nordic ATS Training Academy, Entry Point North, was set up in 2006. Entry Point North is owned jointly by Avinor, LFV and Naviair. Through Entry Point North, Naviair plays a pioneering role in the efforts to harmonise European ATCO training courses. Entry Point North also enhances Naviair’s influence on the development of both existing and future training courses for ATM personnel. Besides providing training services to its owners, Entry Point North has been working on selling training services to other companies in Europe and beyond in recent years.

Naviair supplements EPN’s training course for ATCO trainees with UNIT training. UNIT training takes place at the operational units at which trainees are trained in ATM and assessed as ATCOs.
